Welcome to Eat, Exercise, Excel!

Eat, Exercise, Excel! (EEE) is an award-winning, multi-faceted school wellness program that focuses on improving students' nutrition and increasing their physical activity. At Anthony Elementary School in Leavenworth, Kansas, EEE has turned a failing school into a successful one with dramatically improved academic test scores, and students who are better behaved and healthier. The atmosphere of the school has been transformed into one that is positive, energetic and peaceful.

The three mains goals of Eat, Exercise, Excel! are for students to learn healthy eating habits, enjoy the benefits of physical activity, and to achieve their best academically.

My obese students that used to sit around are actually losing weight. This is amazing for a girl who has an eating disorder. I love my 45 minutes of planning time. The program has just calmed the entire school community. That is a huge accomplishment for this population."
